THEREFORE I urge you, brethren, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies a living and holy sacrifice, acceptable to God, which is your spiritual service of worship. (Romans 12:1)

FULLY surrendered!
FULLY surrendered!

Many years ago, I lived with my daughter and her family in Germany while my son-in-law was serving in the US Army. She had a terrible accident while at work, which required surgery and the placement of an "external fixator" on her arm for six weeks. To understand how gross this was, I urge you to Google it!

Their apartment, located on base, was on the top fourth floor of their building and about a mile from the kids' school. Oh. And, it was during the winter season. German winters are BRUTAL! LOL

One afternoon our young grandson reached the top floor and just immediately lay prostrate on the cold hard cement, even though their front door was right there.

The little guy had had enough. He fully surrendered to his physical and emotional exhaustion. It was really the cutest, funniest thing ever. :)

Little did I know that many years later, I, too, would lay fully prostrate on the floor of our family room. Completely exhausted on every level, crying my head off to God for help.

I really did, FULLY surrender that night, for real, this time. Close to midnight on 12/30/22.

God heard me, and agreed with me that it was indeed, "ENOUGH!"

And although I had been fighting with alcohol for close to 10 years at this point, Holy Spirit Himself, took my burden upon His shoulders and began leading me to freedom in the ways He knew were perfect for me, based on His Word, which is a lamp unto our feet.

For there is no partiality with God. - Romans 2:11

Beloved, God didn't forgive, heal and restore me because I'm some great person. He doesn't favor one of His children over another. What He has done for me and millions of others, He WILL DO FOR YOU!

Don't ever give up on yourself, or God's unconditional, always available, love for you.

May today be your final, for real, day of total and complete surrender to His will and purposes for Your life.
